Travel Award Program
We provide a number of Travel Awards to student authors of accepted
papers. Google is sponsoring ten awards, another four awards are sponsored by KD-Ubiq. Typically, a travel subsidization of 500 Euros is granted per award.
Application Procedure
In order to apply for a travel award, please prepare a single pdf file consisting of the following documents.
- An application letter; please refer to title and paper number of your ECML or PKDD contribution. In case you require more than 500 Euros in order to be able to attend the conference, provide strong arguments.
- Your CV.
- Proof of your student status. May be a letter of your advisor or some certificate of enrolment.
Please send your application file to Tobias Scheffer, scheffer at informatik.hu-berlin.de, by June 30, 2006; please use the subject line "Travel Award Application".
